Marylebone is north of Oxford Street, with Edgeware Road on the west border and Fitzrovia to the East. North is Regent’s Park. I cycled up and down all the streets to find the best route through up to Regent’s Park and discovered lovely Marylebone High Street. It’s very cute and pedestrian friendly with pretty little shops and cafes, and the gorgeous draw of Daunt bookshop half way up on the left. There’s also an absolute treasure trove of a haberdashery called VV Rouleaux – really inspiring collections of ribbons, trimmings, hats and braids! Paddington Street Gardens towartds the top of the street are pretty and have a free WC. I really recommend the Wallace Collection. It’s in beautiful leafy Machester Square just off the High Street, and it has a beautiful collection of paintings, sculpture furniture, armour and porcelein set in a former townhouse.
